
Chambéry international airport is the gateway to France’s mountain ski and summer resorts, spas, and its greatest lakes. It is an ideal location from which to reach some 110 major ski resorts. The airport terminal can handle up one million passengers a year with a high level of security. Savoie Departmental Council is maintaining a steady level of investment to keep pace with growing demand from tour operators all over Europe.

In particular the airport has a 2,020 metre runway that can accommodate all types of aircraft (up to Boeing 757-200s) and 35,000 sq m of parking space. It offers services and security equipment in line with the most recent standards.
